Brunch and Learn with Shelley Filla
Description
Join us for this presentation sponsored by Shelley Filla and two very good friends to learn more about advocating for and changing the way older adults are approached in real estate and the life changes that aging can present. This discussion is being held to share knowledge and experience in helping family members--be they a parent, a spouse, a brother or sister--in addition to introducing resources that can help along the way.
Join the discussion with Shelley and her two guests:
- Adele Segel, principal of Relocate and Renovate (www.relocateandrenovate.com), a local business that helps seniors and their families make the difficult decisions about relocating or renovating as they age. Adele is a Senior Living Specialist with a team consisting of elder lawyers, psychologists (including one that specializes in Alzheimer's), social workers, physical and occupational therapists, and financial planners. She is a Harvard-educated Aging in Place Specialist and has earned additional certifications as an Alzheimer's Practitioner and Parkinson's Specialist.
- Eileen Westbrook, a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist® (CEBS) who advises clients on the many mysteries of Medicare. Eileen is an expert in her field with over 20 years of benefit administration and advising.
We will meet at Shelley's house at 10 a.m. on April 23 at 14910 River Forest Drive. Due to limited space, we only have openings for 10 attendees. If there is more of a demand, we will do another event like this in the evening so let us know if that is something you would like to attend, as well. Brunch will be served.
